Time: Sunday evening
Lady Capulet tells the Nurse to get Juliet, and Juliet comes into the room and Nurse tells Lady Capulet how she brought up Juliet since she was a baby, and when Lady Capulet requests for Juliet to get married, Nurse agrees as she wants to see the person she brought up to get married. Lady Capulet however just wants Juliet to marry Paris to share their wealth. Juliet does not want to get married though, but says she expects to like him when she sees him. A servingman comes and tells them that the guests are coming and the food is ready.
