Place: Capulet House

Time: Monday afternoon

Juliet is at home thinking about how she has married Romeo but has not lived with him and hasn’t experienced his true self yet when Nurse comes in and tells of someone’s death, and at first, thinks that Romeo is dead and finds out that it was Tybalt who died. At first, Juliet is distressed that Romeo killed Tybalt but then thinks about how he would have died if he didn’t kill Tybalt.
