Act 2 Scene 5&6 and Act 3 Scene 1

Times: Monday morning, midday, and afternoon

Places: Capulet House, Friar Lawrence’s cell, and the streets of Verona

Juliet is waiting for Nurse, as she was sent out to ask Romeo about the wedding. Nurse finally returns and tells Juliet to meet Romeo at Friar Lawrence’s cell to get married. Romeo and Juliet get married off the stage. Later in the day, Romeo, Benvolio, and Mercutio are in the streets when Tybalt, Petruchio, and others come to fight. Tybalt wants to fight Romeo but Romeo doesn’t want to fight and stands between Tybalt and Mercutio, leading to Mercutio being killed. Romeo kills Tybalt to avenge his friend then runs away and Capulet and Montague speak to the Prince.
