Romeo and Juliet Act 1 Scene 2

Place: Verona streets

Time: Sunday afternoon

Paris and Capulet talk about Paris wanting to marry Capulets daughter Juliet, and Capulet says she’s too young and he says maybe in a few years he will allow it. Capulet sends out party invitations via one of his servants, and it turns out he can’t read. He asks Romeo and Benvolio to read it for him and Romeo decides to write his name on the list.
